Dematte et al. - The Effect of Smell on Attractiveness

Another study concerned with the attractiveness of faces.  However, in this case the research is concerned with how olfactory cues, i.e. the smell which is associated with the face, affect the perception of the face's attractiveness.

 

Faces are presented with pleasant and unpleasant smells which can either be smells related to the body or completly unrelated smells.  The effect of each type of smell is analysed.
